I came across a Kodak Aerostigmat in mint condition. It is in two parts and looks a bit like a front element and rear element of a set. They are marked EC1290M does anyone know anything about these lenses?

If you haven't bought it, don't. Not because it is a terrible lens, although it might be, but because of the difficulty of making two loose cells useful. Cell spacing unknown, no diaphragm available.

These show up regularly on EBay. They take a barrel similar to the Aero Ektar. Genreally, not considered a great lens, relatively low-res, heavy(-ish), not that fast, not outstandingly large coverage, not usable in shutter for the most part.
