Just a short info for photographers in North America: Current feedback of our customers is that with DHL Express the shipping time is normally only 1-2 two days to the East Coast, and 2-4 days to the West Coast.
So first CHS 100 II 120 have already arrived at our customers in NA.

...Retail order of Fotoimpex shipping 10 rolls to the US results in a current $ price of $9.91 including shipping to the East Coast. Not too bad. But that's paying VAT which I thought wasn't something export sales charged? Dunno... maybe it's just something that's refunded or usable as a deduction on US income taxes at the end of the year? That's why and how a US distributor and their experience in importing EU products can come in handy.

I'm looking forward to 120 CMS 20II. My wish is that ADOX releases larger bottles of Adotech IV at the same time (250ml? 500ml?). While that would still be a relatively expensive developer, reduced packaging cost has the potential to bring down the price. My results with this combination in 35mm are as good as Henning says they are for him.

ADOX CMS 20 II 120 Medium Format Film - fotoimpex.com analogue photography
CMS 20 ultra-high resolution film is now available as a rollfilm. Our first "Made in Bad Saarow" film. This film must be developed with the new ADOTECH II or III ...www.fotoimpex.com
one must ask the following question. Is ADOX going to re-introduce ADOTECH II and/or III, or does that page include a typo as a result of re-using some text from an old CMS 20 file?
...it's very unlikely they will bring back the older Adotech versions.
You and me both Andy! I'd order some if I didnt already spend my paycheque for this period. It gets here within a week too. Maybe you and me should do a shoot off for a video with this film. I have some in 35mm, but havent used it yet. You should get some in 4x5 while you're at it. Its as close to the old Efke 25 as we are going to get, but with slightly bigger grain. That is one film that I would like to get my clammy hands on!

I certainly will and I'll make sure they are stale like last time too.A shootout sounds like fun... as long as you don't lob Timbits at me again!
I think it's more like the Efke 50, but more tolerant for over exposure. Or like inbetween the Efke 50 and 100.You and me both Andy! My 10 rolls CHS 120 have arrived today! Hopefully the weather next weekend is nice, so I can go out and shoot it next weekend.
Ordered 10 rolls. I haven been shooting a lot of this in 35mm, was waiting for the 120!
Would it be a big technical step to produce 220 or is it not done more for economical reasons?

Considering classic type (non-T-Grain, non Delta-Grain) emulsions CHS 100 II is my favourite in the ISO 100/21° range. I prefer it to FP4+, Kentmere 100 and Fomapan 100 because of its better sharpness and resolution, and I like its specific spectral sensitivity very much.
Another advantage I highly appreciate is its excellent price-performance ratio. You really get very good value.
My favourite developer for CHS 100 II is FX-39 II. It delivers excellent sharpness and resolution with CHS 100 II. And it is very flexible, because by changing the dilution and agitation rhythm you can perfectly change the characteristic curve of the film according to the subject contrast and your needs. It also has a very good storage life.
Best regards,
Henning
Gotta love those plastic film containers! What type of packaging for the rolls?
Andrew, the rolls in the film containers have no further packaging. Fortunately, because it is simply not needed. You can just take the roll out of the container and directly load it into your camera, without any waste. I highly appreciate that from an environmental protection point of view, and also for practical reasons.
Reducing our waste, especially from packaging, ist very important (I worked also on that topic as a scientist at University, therefore it is an important point for me).
The containers are extremely robust and close tight perfectly. Therefore perfect protection for the film. Also after exposure! I love this solution when I am out, not working in my studio, but doing landscape, cityscape, portrait and fashion photography outdoors: With films from other manufacturers I have quite a lot of packaging, foils etc. in my camera bag. With these ADOX containers no waste. The films go into the camera, and after exposure just back into the containers. And I have no packaging waste in my bag.
And the containers can be used long-term, for more films.
Best regards,
Henning
