We definitely remain fully committed to photrio.
It is a great community and we've always appreciated the feedback we've got from the members here.

Can I take it you are working on restoring the 120 machine or at least working towards the production of 120 films by some means?
We've been very open minded and transparent here on photrio concerning our work on an improved 120 film production process (which includes much more than the 120 film confectioning machine). We have explained that we are working on that, despite all difficulties and challenges.
That has not changed.

+1
I'm a repeat customer just waiting to happen.
Just FYI:
Agfa-Gevaert's and meanwhile Imagelink branded microfilms are orthopanchromatic films.
But for an infrared film you need exactly the opposite: Superpanchromatic film (with extended red sensivity).
Do I interpret this right? Announcements are premature... We'll let you know when it's happening.... ?
I think there is no room for interpretation, ADOX has been absolutely clear in their post above (#122).
Quote, but underline by me:
"As soon as a new development or product is really ready for market introduction, we will inform the film photographer community immediately here on photrio, and on our social media accounts on facebook and instagram.
We continue to work on new products. Please stay tuned."
Thanks. What is clear is that he has told us all he is going to tell us and that when the product is ready he will announce it. What I wasn't sure about was whether there is any kind of a timescale be that almost imminent, such as a few weeks, a few months or stretching into more than say a year
Nico in his "news" video gave the clear impression that the timescale was one of imminence based on what he stated on his conversation with Mirko
So assuming Nico was not lying about his talk with Mirko i.e it actually took place( I don't know) and that he was listening properly( he may not have been) to what Mirko said to him then I got the impression that an announcement was fairly imminent
My follow-up reply to Mirko was an attempt to get corroboration or otherwise of whether Nico's statement of a timescale was in any way accurate
When Mirko speaks about Adox future products it is always more than "hot air" that we get and that what he says then happens. I have no doubt that Adox' intention is to restart 120 production and knowing that what he says to any recipient be that "newshounds " at very recent photography shows or us at Photrio is consistent then I had wondered if there might have been some indication of timescale available to us
There isn't and that's fine

With you on this one too. What puzzled me a bit is why would there be an interview, whatever that means, with someone who is active on the web, and would surely be more than happy to be first out of the gate with such an awaited announcement (AODX knows it too), then the other side, being the reported source of such, comes down hard with a rather "slow down on that one" reply? Imminence was implied, then derailed, and one would have to assume both from same source, at least by association. Or perhaps that was the last interview granted ?
I think the issue with timescales in an inherently uncertain process, is that you're never quite sure if they materialize. I think this is just a matter of Mirko being cautious based on experiences with processes like these that often run into unanticipated problems. If he were to say today that 120 should be there by Christmas, and then it doesn't materialize, he's got an angry mob at his virtual doorstep. If some YouTuber says the exact same thing, nobody's going to pitchfork the guy for it. So there's the difference. One is more cautious than the other, because of obviously different interests.
Dear photrio members, please just relax. We are relaxed, so you can be, too.
I liked the "please relax" message. I'm also a repeat CHS100 customer and will stock up when it becomes available. Until then, lots of other 120 still in the fridge.
True, but they've said here that the best way to support them is buy their stuff..... I would love to support them more than I do, but I am not much of a 35mm shooter. But still have loads of CHS100 II, Silvermax and Colormission in my fridge
