K-G thanks for the link, a really good and very informative article.

And congratulations to Mirko.

Awesome! I used to run those old Metrohm titrators, give me a couple weeks I could have the whole lab up and running. I'm still looking for refugee status, I thought I had a lock going to Canada, but not enough money 😂 😄😊

I have some of my Cibachrome prints on the wall, nothing is like the depth of color.

Black and white film is a fitting product for this amazing place 😊

...the Swiss newspaper Neue Zurcher Zeitung has written a long artikel about ADOX investment in the Swiss plant...

An excerpt from that article:

"...We must not write anything about the new black and white film that Adox now wants to make in Marly in the spring. Böddecker only wants to talk about it when the film really exists..."

That lets the cat out of the bag, at least a little bit. Now we'd like to know -- what "new film?" The 400-speed emulsion ADOX was reportedly working on many years ago, but couldn't justify given how many competitors there were in the market selling at below cost to produce? Or? Spring has only two months still to go; perhaps we'll just have to wait.

I'm so pleased that Mirko has saved so much of this equipment. I'll buy what he coats. I've ordered from Fotoimpex, freight fees are reasonable, quick. I think these are exciting times.

Congratulations Mirko/ADOX , the Swiss newspaper Neue Zurcher Zeitung has written a long artikel about ADOX investment in the Swiss plant.

Thank you for posting the link.

Interesting to see that in 2009 there were 20 million rolls of film sold and in 2019 it was 26 million. A small increase but it's still an increase. 27% of the peak in 2003 of 960 million.
