You can get dimensional 2x4 lumber that is actually 2X4 inches. We sold it where I worked. We also had our own certified graders there. In other words, a REAL pro lumberyard. That was useful in the restoration of older homes which used "full dimension" framing lumber in the first place.
Now back on track : was just talking to a friend in person this morning who shoots the older GW690. Seems the exposure frame dimensions are a little different than the subsequent ii and iii versions; quite a few things different, in fact.
