No, you're not. This is an ongoing project.

First body is an October 1989 body. Second is a December 1984 body. Interestingly enough, I also owned a 1699 body. Was #1699726. Worked well, but, had a battery drain issue.

Thanks John, mine is 1699645 it was bought on the this forum actually. It is a backup for my original f3hp. I actually don't really use them that much anymore, but they are great cameras.

Are F3/T HP's part of this survey?

I have:

T 8510xxxx (no code inside); black, bought new in 1988.
T 8208xxxx (no code inside); champagne, bought on eBay

Yes, they are. Need all versions of F3 models.

The F3's code is behind the door hinge, instead of in the film chamber.

BUMP...

F3/T's:

T 8510xxxx (no code inside); black, bought new in 1988.
T 8208xxxx (no code inside); champagne, bought on eBay

Hard to see the code without removing the back - didn't have time or tools this morning before going to work. I thought the T8510 body had the code 3811, but it may actually be II8E. I'll make another attempt.

Wasn't willing to take the back off my F3, so I tried to make out the print.

Serial: 1677xxxx
Inside: Either 34VF or 54VF, leaning towards 54VF

It's really easy, just pull down on the silvery spring loaded release on the hinge side. You can do it with your finger nail and the back comes right off. It will also give you a chance to inspect your seals.

On my FM2N:

Serial: N 7288
Inside: 94QC

It has the honeycomb pattern titanium shutter curtain. Red colored shutter sync speed of 1/250.
