two shots for the week,
one in the afternoon, shadows and windows lined up just right,

one in the early morning, it was cloudy but all was quiet and the grey heron was having breakfast,

I’m beginning to recognize individual styles here. That’s pretty cool. Just saw some images and knew exactly who had posted them without looking at the name….
That’s great.
It’s raining cats and dogs here in East Tennessee. But this am, on my walk was able to shoot a few images. Overcast. Color. D2H.
The camera stops time. And it forces me to slow down, to look more carefully. And to see the beauty, goodness, oneness and truth that everything possesses, in as much as I’m able.
This moment moved me tremendously, a bee dying upon a magnolia flower. A fitting place for such a noble and useful creature.

I think 4 years, lately if it's not cold and icy I ride it for everything. It's less stressful than driving a car. We have a wonderful trail system .

Thank you J. It was a nice break from the rain. Seemed it rained for a week straight.
Boston must be a beautiful, grand ol’ American city, by US standards. Quite a history. I hear they have some memorable Tea Parties!
And a very interesting accent of sorts. Visited Nantucket for a friend’s wedding, and remember the airport being quite lovely.
Hope the weather holds, tomorrow I’ve planned a special treat for me, something I’ve never done, but have wanted to for decades: visit the Zoo with my camera.
It’s not quite, the safari experience, but close enough for me.
If anything turns out I might post it here.

Not sure. It’s sitting on public land, across from Clinton. But it may very well be. It looks to be refreshed and upgraded quite a bit. One of the engines is actually brighter in shade than the other.
They look like showpieces. Both of them. Here’s some other pics, all hurriedly taken snaps….
Reminded me of an old train locomotive set under our family Christmas tree. This one is a modern engine. Both were red.
