A picture a day

Welcome back, beautiful Bat! I'm just like him, give me cold weather forever

Thanks! He walked for over an hour yesterday and did not seem to mind. Not bad for an old dog.

two shorts for the week

Well, Australia is an awful long way from the north pole .........

Santa's going to be hot as usual in his suit. He swears its the last time he'll visit Australia.

The sad Martin Parr news yesterday reminded me of this photo I took a few years ago. The most Parr photo I have ever taken.

When I talked to him, he came up out of the water to sit with me. Also, accidental animal theme.

The wet snow really makes the bamboo lean in the backyard. You can barely see there's a fence there under that darkness.

two for the week, in the proportion of Chinese scrolls.

I'm starting to accumulate a lot of cell snaps of Croatian stray cats, they are everywhere.

Haven't had much opportunity to photograph lately. This is from a roll I exposed during a weekend some weeks ago. At dusk, sparse winter light, beach, EI64.

Bold! Crazy how the thing in the middle unifies it

I have 20 lbs of oranges to get through
God I love oranges!
We were on Crete earlier this year and contrary to dreary NW-Europe, orange trees all over the place. It was great to step outside of our apartment and twist off a delicious orange right from the tree.

Yearning to get outside
DO IT!!

Great picture! Makes me want dig my toes into the sand. Love the long shadows!

We had a crazy snow storm that shut down Interstate 80 (major coast to coast highway) very near us. Yesterday and today (shortly) I'll be out in sunny, melting day on my Ebike. The trails are covered and used by skiers this time, so I'll be on backroads

Thanks for sharing!

Interstate 80

That's one I'm very familiar with, I drove almost the entire distance of it, with all my possessions in a little Toyota, when I moved to start my first real job after university.

Yes, a stunning picture, Koraks.
