My bet according to Adox info is that the actual Color Mission film available was made by Lucky in China. If I am right this is Super 200 color negative.

I bet all I have against it!
It is completely impossible that Color Mission is Lucky 200 CN film. Because of the following reasons:
- Adox said that Color Mission is from a film producer which has recently gone into insolvency. But Lucky has not recently gone in insolvency, they have not been in insolvency at all.
- Lucky had stopped color film production a decade ago (they continued with other products).
- I know all the latest Lucky films before they stopped production, I tested them. And I have tested this Adox Color Mission film, too: It is completely different to the Lucky 200 film, no similarities at all.
- Color Mission reminds me a lot to the latest generation Agfa (Germany) CN films. And InovisCoat is using former Agfa technology (they were founded by former Agfa staff and bought main machinery from the former Agfa Leverkusen plant).
And InovisCoat went into insolvency recently.
Therefore the only logical conclusion is that Color Mission was made by InovisCoat.

Let's say innoviscoat/orwo insolvency and the news of their own colour film product plus the sudden coincidental announcements earlier this year of new colour films by; adox, fugufilm, probably wasn't exactly a coincidence. ..

That makes perfect sense.

I had luck and could get some Adox Color Mission film at my last visit in Germany.
And I agree completely with you:
The colors look indeed very similar to the latest Agfa generation color negative films. I think it's nice to have that back, as a nice supplement to the Kodak and Fuji offerings.

I've posted this shots in another thread dedicated to Olympus half-frame SLRs, but maybe this thread could also use some Adox Color Mission 200 shots...

Can you get a room, please? Or at least a dedicated thread.

{Moderator notice:
The quoted comment may now seem a bit odd since it's unclear what it responds to, but that's my fault - after numerous comments/complaints in this thread on the discussion going off-topic into experiences with DHL for international shipping, I've decided to split off all posts on that issue into a new thread on DHL shipping experiences in the Lounge.

Since both discussions (on DHL and on purchasing ADOX products internationally) are somewhat intertwined, the separation between both of these threads isn't necessarily a very clean one. If you feel a particular post from this thread should be moved to the new one, or vice versa, please use the 'report' function and we'll look into it.

Finally, please keep in mind that further debate on DHL should go in the new thread dedicated to that topic. }

Those colours are wonderful. Are these scans or prints? And how did you scan them? I still have 2 rolls left after shooting 1 roll, but those colours were not as nice as these

Those were scanned on my drum scanner (which is not that great with colour negatives).

I promised to show RA-4 prints from Adox CM200 but sadly haven't had much time to print in the last 6 months...

A "not that great drum scanner" most likely still is beter than any flatbed 😄

Yeah, comments against flatbeds likely come from folks who haven't used a current generation flatbed scanner. Especially with wet scanning, the results can be very good.

That colour is glorious! I now understand why this stuff sells out so fast - what film shooter wouldn't want to use this??

A friend in Berlin has been in touch and offered to forward some to me so that I can try this stuff out; I'll ship it to him and he'll slap another label onto the package and post using one of the cheaper options.

I have a small stash of Color Mission 200 now. Its taken me 4 orders of $135 each order to get enough for a while. Keep that in mind thats 3 rolls per $135. I wish they would restrict it to 5 rolls per order instead of 3. Anyway the colors off this film are quite beautiful. Very happy using it. I dont know what Adox's replacement for this film will be like in comparison.

Any status update on the production and sale of color mission "helios"? I tried emailing them but still haven't received a response.

Helios came out with a color shift and we have to coat a corrective layer. Due to the energy crisis here in Europe we had to shut down the coating factory in Switzerland over the winter with minimal heating just to keep the pipes from breaking. We otherwise would have faced an energy bill in the higher 6 digit scale. Currently it is 6 deg. C. We are waiting for the weather to get warmer to continue.

Does that mean that Helios won't require a use of filter (on the lens)? And you do plan to release it this summer?

Thanks!

Sorry for bothering but i am still curious as to the status of helios. Judging by the harman phoenix 200 release, a color shift shouldnt be much of a barrier for a new color film lol.

It will be usable without a corrective filter but you might want to use one if the subject is in the shaddows. We are corecting it for full sunlight only as this is -obviously- the most common subject with such a film.
We will offer a dedicated ADOX Snap-On Filter for shaddow (long exposure) photography.

We are still working on the filtration layers. Next samples to be expected in February.
I shot a roll in Istanbul in the spring this year. Not the greatest work of art in history ever seen by mankind, but if there´s interest I can upload an image.

Thanks @ADOX Fotoimpex!

Those already look very promising, but please please please keep us updated on the progress. I can't wait for samples from your next iteration that should be made in February if I understood correctly?
