Ive had some rare time off work recently so I have been on a few trips.

This is "Cwm Cothy". It was very overgrown but the outside walls had concrete rendering and decorative tiles stuck to it making me think it was applied in the 1960s. I dont think this one has been riuned very long.

Every time I visit a place that has been fly-tipped I always see a yazoo bottle. Maybe there is a link between fly-tipping and yazoo ?

This type of photography is right up my alley. Unfortunately in Canada, hard to find. Lots of abandoned farm houses on the prairies where I come from though... but not from stone. Oh well, the feeling is the same, though. Thanks for sharing.

illegally dumped waste. Household or often site clearance waste which is just dumped in some place, usually down a country lane or in some woods at night when no one sees them doing it. By inconsiderate bastards who don't want to pay to dump it at offical tips (waste dumps).

Since they did away with Spring cleaning pickup here, fly-tipping has become quite common. I would love to fly-tip these bastards!

As nice as the colour shots are w/ the soft palettes, the B&W pics suit the subject matter much more. They're in a different league. It's almost as if the buildings were waiting for someone to happen by w/ some B&W film.

I haven't seen a Yazoo bottle in ages. We used to drink half, then fill the rest of the bottle w/ tequila. Sort of a New Orleans breakfast power drink (always accompanied w/ a Moon Pie). You got to drink all of it that way, as no one else wanted any :}

That's not waste. It's a colourful and whimsical addition to an otherwise dull and boring bit of shrubbery and dirt. I just wanted to say shrubbery. Shrubbery, shrubbery, shrubbery! Feel better already.
