Hey gang,
I picked up a Mamiya RB67 and am trying to scan my 6x7 negatives on my Epson V500 flat bed scanner. I have never had any problems scanning 6x6 negatives but what I am finding is that with the 6x7 format there is quite a bit of clipping. I am using Epson Scan software.
Quick rundown of what I am doing:
Negatives are cut into 3's. I put one strip in the negative tray and position it so ONE image is showing completely. I hit preview and it shows me one negative about 66x59 mm and then another that is 50x50mm. I don't know why I can't get the one negative to be a full 60x70 (or at least close I know nothing is exact).
I have tried setting the configuration to accept 6x7 and 6x8's (thought it might format my negative to the right size), but seem to have no luck.
Do any of you guys have this problem? Suggestions for me? I am so excited about my new camera but kinda disappointed I cannot scan the whole negative.
Thanks in advance,
~Mike
