Decades ago, as an apartment dweller, I had a Beseler 45V-XL enlarger with an extra long column. I set it on a somewhat low rolling cart made for televisions (CRT TVs and not LCD/LED TVs back then) I could raise the enlarger head all the way up and not hit the ceiling. On a rolling cart, you could move it from storage to a room for use, and back for storage (I did not do this, so I did not have to worry about lower door openings). As someone else described, I could use the storage space in the cart to hold lenses and accessories, focus magnifier, etc.

Just bought a brand new one. Speedqueen. We’re not all in Western Europe.

...getting my own 5x4 enlarger is a canceled plan, unless at some point i get a bigger house where this would be practical.
If you decide to reactivate the plan while still in your current house, and are fond of searching for unicorns as well as refurbishing old equipment, what you're looking for is a Beseler 45H. This

is one of a number of threads on PHOTRIO about them.

On the rare side but a Kodak Precision with the B head (4x5) is easy to move about. Only one screw holds the head to the stand.
