Jorge,
Interesting that your information on the origin of fleas coincides perfectly with mine.

I vote for Lady Godiva---I have always stood in awe at her horse(wo)manship and her sense of fairplay in taxation.

Besides, isn't every photographer a bit of a Peeping Tom?

Hey!!!!! Easy there, Aggie wanted us to own up...Owning up is one thing...baring one's soul is another. I only noticed the ladies ability to protest taxation and handle the darned horse, I swear!!!!

Yes, but Catherine Zeta Jones will sue you if she doesn't like the pictures....

First, I want it on record that I did NOT restrict the previous thread to men.

That being said, here are my choices:

1. Joan of Arc

2. Lucrecia Borgia

3. Catherine d'Medici

4. Eva Braun (sp? Hitler's Mistress)

5. Marie Curie

6. Elanor Roosevelt

Who was the queen of England who was famous for rolling heads? Like my earlier responses to this Q, I suggest a good 8x10 contact view of her face...the look in her eye, her soul peering out...

And Ashley Judd, of course. What's a fantasy photo shoot without Ashley Judd in the house???

Ayn Rand, philosopher, and Atlas Shrugged character, Dagney.

Bryan,

Yes...Ayn Rand standing on the edge of a cliff, hair in the wind, just like that Howard Roark. Black and white, big dramatic clouds overhead, you can't quite tell whether she's the queen of the world or whether it's the other way around...

1. Helen of Troy - especially when she was ... confronting Menelaus.

2. Lysistrata.

3. Myrrhine, alone and together with Lysistrata (Note 1.)

4. Queen Margerethe(sp?) of Denmark.

5. The woman who was the subject of that tiled floor in Crete.

A woefully incomplete list. Thousands more....

Note 1: I have taken a part in a local production of "Lysistrata". There will be world-wide performances of this play by Aristophanes, on 3 March 2003, to protest ANY future war - "A Theatrical Act of Dissent". Check out: www.LysistrataProject.com.

Amelia Earhart, somewhere other than next to an airplane.

I wonder how a Hollywood photographer would photograph her.

I see a photograph of Amelia sitting next to her mother on a front porch swing in Atchison, Kansas (her home town) prior to the ill fated flight. This is not Hollywood, I understand...nor am I a Hollywood photographer. I do think that it would be an interesting image.
