Mike, I have access to about 5 or 6 folding cameras in various formats including a Zeiss Ikon in 9x12cm which is very, very pretty. I am quite sure that every one of them has certain problems - bellows if nothing else - and there are no people around who can fix them. In theory, I could try to do something about it but that's far down a bumpy road which I am not willing to take, not at this moment. I may try one of them one day (the Zeiss, probably).
edit: actually, I think the Zeiss is 4x5 but it's still very, very pretty
