My film is exposed but I haven't had a chance to process it yet. I had a pipe freeze and burst .

Eyouuch...

I had negs all ready to go but got a burst of enthusiasm and shot another couple sets so it's back to processing for me too.

That's my plan. I already have a couple sites picked out. But if I do come across a better one, I'll run a roll through the camera for the next go-around.

Just mailed mine, via snail mail so will take 10 or more days. If I do this again the negs will have to be done ahead of time.

Just wanted to apologize to my group for being late. After my first attempt went sour, I ruined the second while washing the negs (its a long story). So I'm going to try again tomorrow. I don't know why I'm having so many issues -- all the rolls I've developed over the past couple of weeks, save the ones for this exchange, have been fine. If the third time is indeed the charm, they'll go out this weekend.

It is because you feel like there are three other photographers with you in the darkroom, intently watching your every move!

Ain't that the truth!!!

Mike

Amen, brother! That's the feeling I got as well.

I might be a little late with my prints in this exchange (and PCX as well). The counterbalance sprigs on my enlarger broke (quite startling experience in the dark, I have to say). I need to find a replacement before I can print again.

We are all friends here, right. This kind of exchange can only make us better photographers and printers (at least that's what I'm hoping for 'cause I can use all the help I can get). The other three photographers with you and me in the darkrooom are there to help.--from Bob's school of positive thinking!

I totally agree - but sometimes, it is harder to work with an audience!

The neg made it safe and sound. Now I need to find time for printing. I hope the patched up counterbalance springs hold on my enlarger... I more or less repaired one, but really messed up the other. This is going to be interesting.

Well, I'am glad that I'm not the only one that is struggling to get these done, all of the sudden got really busy but I'll get there.

Hey guys - the negs are done! I actually shot three different possibilities (the third time around) to be on the safe side, luckily they all made it through to the developing stage without any issues. Since I have extras I just might be ready for the next round. I'm going to pack them up tonight and they'll be in the mail tomorrow.

I also hope to get the prints done this week, because we start a new school year next week and it will be hard to find time to do anything for a while!

Im finding myself taking a whole roll of film on one subject now, not changing settings or focus, thinking it would be a nice Neg. exchange roll,"LOL" Kodak will be happy, guess I have N.E. on the brain syndrome.

I tried two different subjects, and decided on one for this exchange.

I then used the other one for a "difficult negative" printing demonstration for my darkroom group, and some of them are going to take a crack at printing it as well.

Just a reminder to everyone (because I nearly forgot) - be sure to take some notes about how you print each one you end up printing, so you can share them.

Ditto, and for three differrent formats--just in case. I really like the idea of exchanging negatives. Using two rolls of film (35 & 120) and four sheets of 4x5 is worth it to me.

I'm going to pack them up tonight and they'll be in the mail tomorrow.

Arrived this morning as I went out the door. Won't be able to do anything until I return in a couple of days. But now I have negatives from everyone in my group, I'll be tackling it (hopefully) next week in a big printing session.
