I placed an order for 122 film with Glazers, and last week I called them to request a refund since I read on this thread that it did not make the cut-off. They told me Ilford did not officially cancel any of the orders, so it might still happen. So my hopes are still up ... slightly.

Weird how come Freestyle had the numbers a month ago? Glazers must not be good at communicating or something, 122 didn't get enough orders, they should refund your money.

Interesting difference in practices. Freestyle's page *said* that they would charge for the ULF film at the time of order, but in my case it just got listed as backorder. They didn't charge my card until the ULF closed and the list was out. (Ordered June 1st, charged July 9th.)

Hmm really? they charged me, then found out that 70mm wouldn't run, then refunded me, then called me after it was closed saying (we found out the 70mm run is happening as there were EXACTLY enough orders to make it happen, and they had to charge me all over again haha).

I ordered online, maybe when you ordered on the phone they didn't have time to charge you at that moment and you were in a pile of paperwork? where mine being electronic happened right away by the system?

It would be nice to know what was happening. I emailed midwest and inquired and all they said was it should be in Sept or Oct. In the past I seem to recall get timing my film in Sept. An update from Ilford would be nice.

Dear All,

Some of the sheet film shipped to WYNIT in the USA late August, majority in early September, so shoudl be with our re-seller partners now or will be imminent. The specialist ROLL items shipped end of September, so my guess it should all be with our re-sellers the end of October.

Mine arrived the other day with typical Ilford efficiency.

I'm waiting for my order of 11x14, I don't worry about the manufacturer or retailer but shipping and delivery, that's the weak link. I don't have any specific problem or problems to relate. It's just nice to hear about the delivery dates. It wouldn't be fun to hear; It's all been sent out now. Thanks.
 
While processing 25 sheets of 5x7 Delta 100 exposed last week at the Grand Canyon, it occurred to me that the next box of this film, ordered in June from The View Camera Store, hadn't been received here yet. So I sent an email message asking about it.

Fred's response:

"I got a partial order. Would you believe that part of the Ilford ULF order is stuck in customs.

I will email you as soon as the film arrives."​

I guess it's a good thing I had film left from a previous purchase or the trip would have been a bust. If anyone's waiting for Delta 100 from the special order, this is why you still haven't got it.

I am sure the customs hold up was related to the government shutdown.

But it looks like our film is finally on its way.
