Rollei A110, again, I'm sorry I didn't note the film used.

I dug out my Rollei a couple weeks ago and finished the film I had in it. Turns out I put a massive load in the cassette. I got 40 images from it even with the huge spacing and didn't even finish the roll. Of course that let the end of the film flopping around in the tank but whatevs. On the upside, it looks like the light leaks in the Rollei that have been driving me nuts have all been fixed now. On the downside I still can't make a good picture with it, so there is that.... The Fuji Super HR though is not bad for reloads. Works fine in Rodinal too. I just chuck it in with my other film and get whatever I get. Works ok.

Here is an example of the Fuji Super HR from the last roll in a developer I call Sooperhooch. One of these days I'll write about Sooperhooch. I've been using it off and on now for a few years at least. The downside of the internet makes me not want to deal with the grief of telling other people about Sooperhooch. If you are curious about SH I usually label my images I developed in SH on IG with it if I remember. Probably all the Minox images were developed in SH with an occasional PMK or Beutler's thrown in.

FYI Paul's Photo in Torrance, Calif, processes 110 film in house. If anyone is looking. Depending on their workload, same day or even sooner.

Imagine the inventors of this stuff showing up today and seeing what people are pulling off with 110 film. Good work.

Thanks, yeah. A few of my frames had weird shadow lines on them. Not sure if there is an issue in camera or with the film and/or developing. There’s another film in the same camera so I’ll find out soon enough!
But that’s the beauty and fun of 110 - we don’t take it too seriously!

You could always ask Bob Shanebrook (@laser here on Photrio) whether he was involved when 110 was brought on to the market by Kodak, and what he thinks of it.

Shot yesterday, March 22, 2023, in Molt, Montana, with Minolta 16P, Kodak Double X at 250, and developed in Caffenol Delta Std, 8 minutes at 68 degrees. This is a scan of the negative.
