I do all the time. In red rock country the subject brightness range can but up to 16 f/stops and I have never had a problem with ISO 400 film.

I use ISO 400 films all the time. It is my choice for day time photography that allows me to photograph into the night.

Hence my use of the 28mm to 200mm Nikon AF zoom or hte 28mm to 300mm Tamron AF zoom.

My problem with this mirror lens and other mirror lens is the donuts that appear in the unfocused areas.

You should save yourself a lot of grief and send the two meters out to be calibrated together at the same lab. Believe me it is worth the cost to have all your light meters calibrated the same and correctly.

It depends on your water. I have always used tap water in Los Angeles and never had a problem even though the water is hard. For most of the US tap water does not cause a problem with film.

See that did not take long. Generally for the cost the service is good here.

I like the 20mm to 35m Nikon AF zoom and the 28mm to 200mm Nikon zoom [also the 28mm to 300mm Tamron AF zoom]. In the manual lens category I like the f/3.5 28mm PC-Nikkor lens for traveling especially when I am photographing buildings.

I never had a problem with PhotoFlo. I mixed it exactly per the directions. Soak for at least 30 seconds, I wait a minute. Hung the film and then rather than wipe the film, I put a paper towel at the lowest corner of the film and draw off the water solution with a paper towel. Never touch...

I store all my unopened film in the freeze and opened film in the refrigerator. I have been doing that for over a decade.

When I buy a used camera or lens, I always assume that it will need a CLA even if it is from a camera store or KEH. Fortunately I have only had a few problems needing work on recently purchased lenses, and the one time there was a problem KEH took care of the CLA even though it clearly cost...
