Very nice..... but I always wonder, why do we love trains? We do, of course, I know I do... I have miles of train negatives, even a train book I did some years back that is pretty good, too. Is it the tracks as this image suggests? Or the size of the cars and engines? Can't say, but it is worth...
Congrats ! Check out our Rollei 600* Group we have in the group section nad show us some of your shots when you get them and I agree with you about 220.... another Kodak lousy call followed by Ilford and then every one else.... bunch of cows!

I am amazed at the detail and sharpness you have achieved with this re-worked Rollei. I am a Rollei collector and love them dearly. I wonder how you can achieve this level of detail and sharpness. Are these hand held? If so, they are even more amazing. What developer did you use for these. I did...
I need to ask, how is Eva and what has become of Lena? Some of us miss her. They both are so beautiful, you know Ginger is now totally blind and getting along just fine. She knows where everything is and does just fine. Good work here. Still using the Rollie 6008? I still do. Good luck Logan
I use the R72 and get super results.... late in the evening works good, too. I have had good results, but not like HIE(RIP), but good enough. It is a good film, you;ll get good results with the proper filter...

Learn to use the hand grip... it'll make life easier in the long run, I think. Film backs are pretty robust, but why flex them when yoiu don't need to. I've been using one for years and the hand grip works fine.

Well, fare you well, Sir, I have SQ's as well, love 'em and use them a lot, tho Rollei SL66's mostly now. The 6000
s batteries are a real pain now and I like the 66's a lot these days. What beauties of construction and favor.
Bon voyage, Sir

I certainly agree with your use of heavy filters for great looking skies. I use a #29 filter for most sky work. It makes the sky look like the real shade of blue if really looks like. Give a 29 a try some time and see how you like it. I think the B&W # is 91. Logan
You guys will love these things... I shoot a Fujis TX1 which is the same thing with a different name plate, but it is the same... love it... panos make you think different, don't they?

Well, that was last November and does not seem to have elicited much of a reply. We don;t seem to be doing much. I certainly haven;t been doing anything, except perhaps bitching a lot at others about not doing much but not doing anything, myself. That's no good, is it? What I need to do is get...
FOR SHOWING THIS WONDERFUL FLAG THAT LATELY IS NOT so well though5 of.some of us revere it mightily and love it beyond words, my friend. I t is good to see an Irishman revere it too, so thanks, SirLogan
I have the Fuji version and I also love it. There is another route however. Get a Bronice ETRSi with a 40mm lens and the 135w back. This will allow you to shoot stunning panoramic shots with a 2 1/4 lens and a 2 1/4 camera. I wandered all over Maine with one and had superior results which can be...
T am a long time GS1 USer and I love it. I am over-camera-ed and the GS1 is one of my most favorite ones. And yes you do want a grip. For Sure the grip. if you want to shoot verticals you have to rotate the camera and it is heavy so the grip really helps a lot there. The 100mm lens is a super...
What a beauty and how I long for it, but I have exactly all of the same kit.... I do and she would have every reason to kill me this time as I sit on my couch next to my just arrived Graflex XL without even a film back yet. Some very lucky person will be very fortunate to score this kit. Vet...
Second the comment about Jimmy Koh. A super person and a fine Bronica Technician. He will tell you what he's got; what shape it's in; how much and so on and its fair. Good outfit. I trust them.

What Rick A said. Or just tell her "No".... any way you say it, it comes to no.... she's trying to scam you, Pal... I would not do it.... why are people we like, even, sometime so cheap?.... sorry...

Those are mwhat we call a**holes.... they are caused when the film gets a fold in it and sort of "pops" This actually causes a small exposure on the film due to a small slip of speed across the surface of the film.I get them some. One needs to see this by making a fold in a piece of paper and...
I have both and did a trip to Glacier natl Park with them and have super negs to show for it. They are great since the lenses are really view camera quality lenses. Really. 6x9negs with those lenses have to be good negs and will print like they should. Have good fun there. I also did power...
I have two Sl66's and they are super. They are hard to get fixed but not impossible, but then they seldom need service either. They are tough customers. KEH often will have a plain SL66 on the page. I don't care much for meters in cameras but have a SL66E and cannot get the meter to work and...
