First Annual Spring Workshop in Virginia

Keith, I use Singh-Ray filters that I will be bringing. Jared is quite taken with video. He would like to make little video clips if no one has any objection with his new small little hand held. I also have two new 95mm UV filters (used for about a month actually) that are perfect if anyone is...

4x5: Notches always on the lower right side?

Thank you paul. A good site indeed. I've been practicing with a piece of film so I'm ok. I wondering because I saw a review that one film was not the same as far as notches. He may have been wrong. I simply went to Ilford's page and got the spec/picture. I have written down numbers on my...

4x5: Notches always on the lower right side?

Chris, you mean LOWER right, correct? Positioned Landscape. I won't be looking at any side, I'll be doing this in the changing bag, hence the inquiry. Thankyou.

4x5: Notches always on the lower right side?

Thomas, thank you, but I remember one review on B&H saying the film was great execpt the notches don't follow the norm etc... I'll be using Delta 100 as my first. I'm guessing that in the changing bag, I open the box, then the second box, open the "bag" and take out the film and load.

4x5: Notches always on the lower right side?

Just want to make sure before I open my first pack in a changing bag. I seem to remember one person writing that there was one sheet film that was not. Thank you.

    Rangefinder question?

I have shot MF and SLR's all my life. Picked up my first RF a few months ago and purchased it that week. It's hard to explain until you pick one up. See if your local pro shop will let you a loan for a day or two and you'll see. Good luck

Where do I start to learn about Emulsion on various products pls..?

Hi there. Just curious. I know some DR' wonders have placed Emulsion on odd objects and then exposed onto them. I don't want a detailed writing but can you please tell me where to go to begin learning about this? Thanks much.

Where to get checmicals in NJ please?

I agree Dan, but anytime I've ordered past 12pm I've never gotten it the next day, esp since tomorrow is a 1/2 day for them, everyone knows and online gets busy for them. Other hand, during the week, I always get my order the next day. I'm not too worried about it, as I can use a few hours...

Where to get checmicals in NJ please?

I'm from Central and I'm out of a couple items. I don't want to go into NYC if I don't have to. (but you know I will) B&H scares me because it's a candy store. ;) Any ideas where I can purchase my Chems locally on Friday please? Thanks.

    Analog Photo magazine?

Lenswork ditto. I've tried to read CiM but everytime I have the same outlook. This last month it touts the writer discussing push processing film, all he writes about is a short summary on what films he was used and that he "pushed" them to 3200, 6400 etc.,,, Try Lenswork....

    Ektar 100: Develop Where?

I would stay FAR away from CVS based on a lot of peoples exp. here. I have indeed used Target with the following guidelines: 1. NO PRINTS (yuk) 2. Process ONLY (then scan) great 3. NEXT DAY pickup, then it's only .99 per roll. Luck

    Darkroom plans

Well, first off big congrats on the DR. Now I'm just beginning and to be honest It's been a lot less expensive then I've thought. (equipment wise, not remodeling) I'm finding the most expensive item being the sink which I've still not found as of yet. (and I've not budgeted the plumbing) but...
