There is a difference between hold a 300mm lens on a 35mm camera and a 6x7. I can had hold a 250mm Hasselblad lens shot at 1/500 or 1/250, but I cannot hand hold the 500mm lens on the same camera for the shortest shutter speed of 1/500.

If one orders something at KEH of a particular grade when KEH goes to fulfill the order, if the item at that level is not available, then KEH will sent the next highest available grade. I ordered a lens at EX, and got a lens at LN- instead at no extra cost.

While I cannot make any suggestions relating to what to look for, I can recommend seeing what KEH.com has because if something is not right, KEH will let you get a refund, exchange or have it repaired for up to 6 months after the purchase. That takes the worry out of making a purchase.

To add to what you posted: If a multicoated filter or single coated filter could make up for lenses not being coated, then no lenses would be coated.
