If one has to buy a dark cloth, I recommend that they buy one that is black one one side and white on the other. The black side is for normal use and and the white side is for hot sunny days.
I have a problem finding things when they are misplaced, so I am very consistent about putting things back in exactly they place they should be. Once misplaced, I have big problems finding them again, so I have learned to look in the last place that I would look.
I so rarely have found motor drives useful for rapid series of photographs. Advancing film and cocking the lens are useful but only if the film advance is build into a camera.

I often use the P mode on my Nikon N75 often. Unfortunately I made the mistake of leaving it in that mode when a took a helicopter tour on Kauai and some of the darker area photographs were badly blurred.
