Hi All,

Just a quick note to let you know we've added another new moderator to the team, long-time member Andrew O'Neill. As mentioned, we're still working to build out the team a bit further in the coming months. I'd say we're off to a great start!

We want to push harder to keep the forum a friendly environment where members are eager to ask questions and share information. We want to tamp down on trollish and curmudgeon-like characters who sour discussions more than benefit them. In saying that, don't forget the "Report" link at the bottom of every post. Clicking "Report" is the best way to alert our team to problems. Reporting a post is anonymous. If you see someone that is disruptive and souring the forum discussions please report it.

Also, a reminder about the "Ignore List" which can be found here:

https://www.photrio.com/forum/account/ignored

If there is someone that annoys you to a point it impacts your enjoyment of the forum, there is the option to add them to your ignore list and they are hidden from view. If they are doing this to multiple members we can usually pick up on it with your help.

Thanks!
Sean

Good choice.
From his postings, I've inferred that Andrew is a High School teacher who teaches teenagers. That was good training for Photrio. 😯

Thank you! Happy to be a part of the team! I practically live here already, so why not? I've had a blast hanging out with all of you over the years (some I've gotten to know personally with photo outings), sharing information, etc. I can't begin to tell you how much I've learnt from you. Now with this responsibility comes some new learning and looking forward to it! Off to my darkroom now (before my wife realises I'm up and points me toward the vacuum), and hopefully an quick outing with some of that CatLabs 80 film...as long as the rain holds off!

As I said elsewhere to Andrew, I'm really glad to have him on board.
Our long term plan to infiltrate the entire Photrio world with Canadians progresses!

Important to not miss the kid on the green chair. 😆

This actually happened in Japan...except the kid peed out the window. I also stopped two 5 year olds from playing catch with a dried up piece of dog poop. I said to them, "Whatever that is, stop throwing it around in the classroom. Now give it here!" 🤢

I knew you would be perfect for the moderator's position here! 😄
