For me the better the equipment, the easier it is to use and the results are better as well as the best is arrived at with fewer iterations. So better equipment ends up saving me money in the end.

The one I had participated in I received several excellent 8"x10" prints.

Use a spot meter for the brightest areas [highlights] and the darkest interior area that you want details to determine the exposure.

Any stop bath is beneficial to non pyro developers and much better than just using water.

For my camera repairs I have had excellent work done by KEH and the prices are competitive or lower.

It was never a craze for me. I just did it.

The big thing that kills pinhole photo swaps is total lack of follow through which is what happened on APUG.

Since you are down rating the film speed develop the film at film speed or you will have wasted the effort of shooting at 200. Since XTOL gives a boost to film speed why not shoot and develop at box speed to see if decades old traditional films can stand on their own?

I agree. If the restaurant cannot absorb its costs and present a price it can live with, I can afford to live without the restaurant in my life. Also restaurants should price the food and service to provide a living wage for the staff.

Why not use the view finder designed to be used with the SWC? They are accurate, I know because I have used it for over 15 years. Also there are no reviews published that claim that they are not accurate.
