In a word "No!" I only vary from the box speed reading if I use the box speed in the Zone System for more shadow detail.

As Drew pointed out the palm exposures many vary for some people but the total range of variation would be less than a quarter f/stop at most and that is easily within making each person's hand will work and with a small personal adjustment.

Yes, mine exposure ring cracked and fell off my N75 a couple of years ago. I responded by buying an N80 as a backup.

Be ready for the weather to change to either hot or cold extremes. In the Sierras I experienced moderate snow on a warm sunny mid August day.

Especially for slides, you should turn the palm to match the shade or reflectance of the subject before taking the reading.

Yes, because palms and sole of feet have very little melanin in them.

My black friends will tell you that it works for taking slides too.

Actually all races have almost the same color palms since there is very little melanin on the palm.

The first one with the cross hairs are great for lining up horizontals [the horizon] and verticals. If I did not have my view finder with a vertical and a horizontal line, I would jump at that one.

I had a Certo Super Dolly with a Zeiss Ikon lens that was super sharp and had a wonderful depth of field. It did not have a range finder so using the depth of field was necessary. It could take 6x6 or 645 but 1) it did not have the 645 mask, it was missing and 2) the numbers for the 645 on...
