The question really comes down to do you want a TLR, TLR with interchangeable lenses, a folder without interchangeable lenses, or, included for completeness an SLR? There is no correct answer, only your personal answer. I have used all four and made my decision.

I agree! Get a proper eclipse glasses from a verified source. Your eyes are worth it. One usually only gets one set of eyes, so properly protect them.

I have used binders and boxes for storage. While binders keep them in order, I found that boxes were easier to move the PrintFile sheets around to use and use in the darkroom.

I used the palm of my hand to get the exposure better in snow and that worked well, but in the end, I found that using an incident meter got the exposure the best for white snow.

For an overcast day, I use a yellow or an orange filter. One should note that if the day is overcast, no filter will "cure" a truly dull sky. One must muster their compositional skills to cure that.
