The development time in Dektol for RC and FB is 2 minutes. If one does that it removes one variable and that makes it easier to adjust the expose with f/stop and exposure time only. That makes repeatabilty of a negative much easiler.

Photo Engineer recommended using stop bath for E$, C41, RA4 and other color processing to eliminate multiple development problems.

I use Dektol for fiber paper for 2 minutes. I standardize on that.

From what you posted, you can blow harder than I.

Only when opening the Expert Drums which needs a pump to pop the top off. Evidentially prying the top off is bad for the drum, and it does not come off easily that way.

I happen to use the refrigerator just because there is more room.

Consistency is the key.

Now I have been enlightened.

I have had the same pink color in the rinse water of several films. Use fixer a longer and rinse a bit more until the water and the film are clear.

I have had a little leakage from the top of stainless steel caps on occasion, not often.

Another example showing that having a college degree has benefits outside ones major. While some can have a good living without graduating from college, statistically one is still better with a college degree.

Not for someone going through this for the first time. Have some patience with him or her and guide him or her through the pros and cons avoiding the feelings that boil up from past confrontations. I had many of those confrontations too.
