I cannot find anything in the Leica R series that will meaningfully access my Nikon AF SLR or Hasselblads.

I prefer to buy black bodies but I buy used film backs in any form that they come, chrome or black. If I ever have to reskin anything, I will do that in blue and then nothing will match.

The problem is that some of the required components are driving the costs and since those chemicals have limited sources. All film manufacturers have to deal with component sourcing supply problems.

I have to get back to using the orange filter more when I shoot black & white.

Every time I considered the Leica R series, the costs pushed me away. The added performance did not justify the added costs for me.

I use lens hoods with very wide angle lenses, including Fisheye lenses, though the telephoto lenses. The lens hoods for zoom telephoto lenses such as the 28mm to 300mm AF zoom lnd smart enough not to aim any lens directly at the sun.

The f/2.8 80mm Planar is my most used lens and I strongly disagree. What do you base you opinion on?

Based on exactly what? Your anger at the costs of film going up? Kodak has to stay in business and to do that cover their costs.

I found that the exposure latitude of slide film is too narrow to bother with shadows. Take the light readings without the sky and the exposure will be correct and there will be some shadow detail included without blowing out the highlights.

My Hasselblad repairman has advised since I started in 2007 to avoid the Hasselblad 200 and 2000 series. One finger through the shutter ends the cameras life. There are no longer replacement parts for the shutters. I have the 503 CX and 903 SWC.
