I too strongly recommend the Gossen Lunapro SBC is a good "low cost" and accurate light meter. It can be found on ebay for ~$50 or so and it takes 9v batteries and has spot meter attachments available.

I agree I use tap water and a sponge with a plastic scrubbing side.

I use the Tamron 28mm to 300mm AF Zoom lens and the Nikon 20mm to35mm AF Zoom lens.

Doing split grade printing with the strongest yellow and magenta filters [0 and 5] can get one most of the way to dodging and burning.

Refurbished has always meant that the item was returned for a cause, fully tested for every function instead of sampling some of the tests after repairing the defects and then fully guaranteed as new and sold at below the new price. I learned a lot about refurnished products when I worked at Kodak.

But it takes time, concentration, and careful thought. Some may be short of those in time of stress and pain.

For fine grain and great tonality I recommend my go to developer if choice XTOL or better yet replenished XTOL.

Why limit yourself to Fuji cameras. There are great cameras made by Nikon and Canon that will meet and exceed your present and future needs. No Hasselblad cameras were damaged or destroyed in the making of this post.

I have found that the wash cycle of film or paper development sufficient to clean the lift delivery tube.
