The image quality is reflected in grain smoothness and smoother, continuous tonality improvement, not so major change. There is a slight speed boost which some note, but I sometimes notice a slight better shadow detail.

I agree. I have had superb work done by Carol. Once a lens has been serviced, it can be trusted as a known quality.

I too have never had a problem with shipped film, but it does not cause any problems to have "Film, Do Not X-Ray" labels on the package.

A question is whether a print is worthy of being made. I have some 32"x40" prints made from 35mm negatives. They were printing in a professional commercial darkroom with much higher quality than I could do myself, however only a small number of negatives can be print to that size because some...

I have as expected found that expanding to digital photograph will cost me about $1100US before taxes to up grade a 13 year old MAC to a 60 processor Mac Pro Tower with full memory and added drives. Film and other costs are a whole lot less.

Buy more slide trays. A slide show can be as long or short as one wants.

One is limited by the size of available print material, limits on equipment size such as tank or tray, illumination by an enlarger, enlarger optics, and quality of the end product's appeal. On the other hand there are more mundane limits including taste and appeal.

I am using Windows 11 with LightRoom and PhotoShop, however I would rather use an update Mac and have access to the larger machine.
