A filter will not change the coating of the lens to a T*, but could have an impact with the ability to "see" though haze by filtering out UV light. I have seen little or no improvement with a Skylight 1A filter, but I have seen improvement mostly at higher altitudes with a UV filter.

While I have never owned a Leica, the M Leicas that I have used have always felt much smoother than any RF or AF SLR that I have used.

I meter at box speed and then open up 5 f/stops for the 720 filter. I get the best results with the Sun behind the camera and I use Rollei IR 400 film.

Hasselblad has great availability of parts, service and support for the V Series, but poor parts and service for the 200 and 2000 series.
