Very carefully clean with a bulb air blower and a very soft brush. Then only if necessary clean the underside and replace exactly as it came out. If and only if necessary then clean with a lens cleaner as necessary using only minimal amount of lens cleaner.
Tim has become my go to filter suppler for any format camera from half-frame to 4"x5". I have go to him for years, way before the sudden black & white contrast filter disappearance from the market.
Some marks to the left appear to be fungus but the marks to the right appear to be scratches. I suggest that you first try lens cleaning fluid and gently wipe with a cotton ball. Then set the lens by a window for a week or two to see if the Sun's UV light clears up what appears to be fungus.
Unfortunately my knees are no longer up to skiing that deep powder. On the other hand when I dream of deep powder skiing, I always make all the turns and never fall.
For Fisheye and very wide angle lenses, the front lens surface is so curved that a filter cannot be put on the front of the lens without damaging the lens plus a front filter would not uniformly appear at the film plane.
I found that XTOL worked will with all black & white films, however I found that the Ilford films came out thin with the posted times. Therefore I add one minute to the 68 degree F [20 degree C] time for all Ilford films.
I have used both the off brand 2X extender and the Hasselblad 2XE extender on the 500 mm C lens. Both work and are usable, but I found the 2XE a bit sharper.
