After HIE was no longer available, I started using Rollei IR 400 shot at ISO 400 and then set the f/stop wider based of the red filter including the 720.
I still use my Nikon N75 for C41 color film and the F100 for black & white film. I have looked at the Nikons below the N75 and decided a while ago that N75 was the lowest I would go. When the N75 dies it will be replaced with an N90.

All the film counters on my Nikon AF cameras have a maximum limit of 36 exposures and they rewind after that. Of the rest of my 35mm cameras I too find the maximum number of exposures is limited to 36 with not automatic rewind.
I have had the Viewfinder Preview app for several years now and I occasionally look at it, but I have never compared it to a light meter or camera light meter so I really have no idea how accurate it is. It does seem to be close to Sunny 16, but again I have not compare its results.
However if the water temperature is too warm, the emulsion will lift off the paper.

Using an iPhone, commissioned or decommissioned, sounds like over-kill when there are so many operating light meters available and often they have features beyond being simply a light meter. Is it the desire to use Viewfinder Preview app?
