The largest print I have made is a 16x20 - but that is the limit on my tray/sink set up not the projected image. Beseler is still in business, give them a call - I am sure they could give you the best answer.

Column is easy to remove from the baseboard, the carriage I would leave in a locked position at the top. I think you can still get a manual from the Beseler website.
It is easy to convert back to a manual lift, you use the same gearing as the 23 enlarger. I have the motorized model, it works fine with the heads it was designed for. However, if you try to use a head that is heavier than the Beseler you may have problems. I had a heavy custom head on mine...
I like this a lot - first one, hands together, hair up, formal clothing makes me think of civilized reserved tension - second one, hands apart, hair down, and nude leads to openness, naturalness and a relaxed feeling. At least that is my reaction.
