a friend of mine who shoots 8x20 does this(plastic "canvas"/mesh material)
works very well, and minimizes actual handling of the film because you slide the film into the drum with the mesh acting as a buffer between the two

Just took delivery of a newer ballhead from Acratech, so this kit will need to find a new home!
Gitzo "old school" off-center ballhead:
Has 1/4-20 screw up top
Requires 3/8-16 tripod screw
Works great, doesn't look great, but works very well.
Ball might be a bit stiff, but that way you'll know...

Great little(well minus the length of the rail) 4x5 camera. Very nice setup for the experienced shooter or novice alike. Very intuitive controls/design, and it's certainly a "no muss, no fuss" camera. Straightforward and to the point.
This is the LONG rail...
Very clean.
Some exterior dust speckles, and a few internal ones, nothing that'd impede performance whatsoever
Comes w/ bubble case, retaining ring, and lens cap(original 'rodenstock' one)
This is the version you WANT, and definitely the version you NEED if you take your darkroom work...
this is an obvious one, this thing is butt-ugly :)!
leather is peeling in some spots, worn through in others.
-HAS GRAFLOK BACK
-HAS WORKING SHUTTER
-HAS (at least in my testing) LEAKY BELLOWS [nothing a little pvc cement can't fix, $4 @ Home Depot ;)]
-LENS' SHUTTER WILL NEED A CLA

Vivitar 285HV

Comes w/ PC sync cord.
Original version, not newer chinese-made one
Nikon SB-25 w/ SC-17 TTL cord

Ektar 100 is a really good film.
shoot it, have fun!
Make sure you expose and process it correctly. It behaves like a slide film(but has more DR), but you get a negative. It's more contrasty, but if you expose it @50ASA(like I do), the 1 stop in over-exposure helps to lessen the contrast a bit...
I've been using film that's "expired" by 10+ yrs or so, with no apparent age effects
IF IT WAS STORED PROPERLY(key point here)
I wouldn't hesitate to use this film down the road. Fridge is fine for short-term(upwards of 6mo), but frankly, just freeze it if you aren't going to use it quickly.

sorry to hear about your troubles.
but to be quite frank, go back in and DEMAND your money back
then find a new lab. don't be afraid to send your film out by mail if needed, there are LOTS of wonderful labs nationwide that happily accept mail-order, and won't scratch your film or leave chemical...
sounds like your internal meters(or shutter speeds on the gear train/transmission in the camera) are a bit slow. I'd be hesitant to call foul on the part of Fuji. More likely your lab(aforementioned "push process" by someone else), or a slightly slow shutter in-camera.

An estimated 38 boxes will be needed to put this order into...
I've never owned a Rollei(of any derivation), but have used a few. Great, compact system.
I have owned Hasselblad, and really enjoyed the "system" that it allowed me to have(usually comprising a 50, 80 and 120 or 150). 100% satisfied with Hasselblad technically, but I felt myself cropping it...
