Found a Brooks also with shutter problem. Camera Meister Hamburg fixed it and I am now using the camera in Berlin. It works fine in 39c weather, better than I do.

Thank you so much! It came off! Now I feel much better about using it. Apparently this lens needs a 24mm push on hood. Does anyone makeshift something for this purpose?

What are people's experience with old lenses like the Zeiss 75mm 3.8 with white marks such as these? These marks look worse at certain angles and seem to be inside the lens. They also appear to stand in relation to the aperture blades. The lens is on an Original Rolleiflex K1 614 that...

Wiltw, which lens do you have on your Bergheil? Looks like the third model according to Prochnow's Voigtlander Report 3 that began in 1928. He notes that the letter at the beginning of the number on the inside of the door/Laufboden (that swings down) indicates the year, - for 1928, A for 1929...

If you go to German language areas in Europe, especially culture type places, a Rolleiflex often draws wonderful subtle attention. And if you are in a place for a week, the DM drugstores only charge around 3 Euros to develop slide film!

Depending on the lens you could add a Weitwinkel Focar lens to get a little more of a wide angle. Which lens do you have? I am also interested in these mounts!
