During a long wait while my wife took care of some important business, I wandered off to Beacon, and to my favorite place there...the falls. I've posted a number of 'graphs from this spot. Here's another. The water level, light, season, and mood of this place is forever in flux. I'll shoot many more from here over time I think.

Beacon, New York

I too can see the grill of an classic car here - looks fabulous. I think I'd crop the top as the trees upset the fluidity of the image.

Very nice -- do you remember what shutter time you used? Can't remember ever having seen a moving water shot like this. The reflections in all the water surfaces are unusual and sublime. I have been walking the woods and hills in the Hudson Highlands for over 20 years. The Hudson Valley is a great place to photograph [as it was to paint in the mid 1800s]. Would love to see more!

WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've never seen water so..... so.... fluid, so liquid before.

I disagree with the others who offered up comments about cropping. Leave it be. This is perfect!

this mercurial view of flowing water is very unique .... lovely photograph ..
