It's Big, It's Bad and it is my favorite Medium Format Camera. I think the appearance and handling compared to a standard SLR camera is what first attracted me years ago. I let the first one go when I got out of the hobby about 10-15 years ago a decision I regretted. I had the MU 6x7 with the 55mm/3.5, 105mm and 165mm lenses.
The current body is one of the last 6x7MU models made as I was told by Eric at Pentaxs in Tennessee who I had service the body recently as well as repairing the loose optic window in the TTL prism. He calibrated and checked everything.
Good for another 30 years...
I had Pimp My Pentax make me a set of grips (left & right) out of Plum wood and reskinned the peeling leatherette.
I have these lenses: 45/55 f4/75/105/135 Macro/165/200/300 and 500mm. I have a 6x7 to Canon EOS adapter and use the 500mm lens on my Canon Digital SLR's. Wow whatta view.
