I just got a Canon F-1n, which has been my grail 35mm camera for a long time. Passed all the tests, and now I'm running the first roll through it to make sure I don't need to replace the seals.

same. I'm quite happy with Tmax 100 (4x5) and Delta 100 (5x7), but I'll probably eventually spring for a box in 4x5. I've shot it on 120 and had some good results.

I know where it goes, I just can't find one small enough...

No, no, no, you cannot insert a film holder. It doesn't work that way.

Also, you cannot look through the back to focus unless you have a special ground glass adapter.

Finally, you cannot fit 4x5 into it unless you fold it very carefully.

What a rookie. We gotta teach you everything...

Unfortunately I don't have a hasselblad or any 8x10 film I'm willing to sacrifice, but it appears that my Mamiya Press is in fact a 4x5 camera.

I bought an Olympus XA for $20 works great. Flash was not good. Heck I don't think I could buy a disposable for $20. When I was a young fellow I had one neat little camera.

ive got one! i thought i had lost it, but then found it in a filing cabinet drawer. still had a roll of tri-x 400 film in it. popped in some fresh batteries and made some more photos. i havent developed the film yet. must be over 25 years old but the house is never above 74o so it shouldnt be too degraded.

i just bought a Beseler 45MCRX enlarger yesterday. $100 but it only has the 35mm negative carrier. ive seen them on the 'bay for about $30 so im not too worried. i dont know if i need a proper lens for it or not though. i didnt look at it when i unloaded it into the garage. im REALLY HOPING i can get the motivation to move it to the basement at least if not into my dark room after this weekend...

i might need to do some repairs to the upper bellows though. they sound a little bit crunchy

These come apart easy ( the bottom L channels, 4 Phillips machine screws). With modern fast paper you can leave the upper bellows closed, fully collapsed, that will give reasonable even illumination across every size negative. I use dichro and cold lights, no condensers

Two Kodak 3A 122 folding cameras. One is series II and in "As new" condition except it has a loose viewfinder, gotta find a way to tighten it up somehow. The other is a "Special" with the early poor excuse for a rangefinder, but the camera itself is sound. Both have 4 element Kodak Anistigmat lenses which I'm pleased about, but couldn't tell until I shone a torch in to count the reflections, eight in each. Happy days for a collector of Kodak folding cameras.

As well as those classics, I bought 7 rolls of 616 Verichrome in good condition, box wise at least. Yet another 122 expired Verichrome, and a needle oiler, and a NOS bellows for my Kodak No1 Pocket Kodak (120 size film) In superb condition, only needs the bellows replacing.
