Freestylephoto has Opticolor 200 film in 4x5/25 sheet pack for $96.99usd

On Optik Oldschools site they have 4x5 ($96usd), 5x7 ($168usd), and 8x10 ($360usd) in 25 sheets:

@Disconnekt thanks for the post, I didn’t know this film existed in any format. Watched a few videos just now. Maybe the only “experimental” color film besides now-unavailable Adox Color Mission that appeals to me. Not sure I’m prepared to go for the 8x10 but some 120 will likely arrive soon.

Interesting color palette. Gotta say I’m excited to see something noticeably different from Kodak’s offerings, good as they are. I bet the large format looks great.

@AZD Yeah, I think they just released it in large format, I was browsing around Freestyle Photos site friday & happened to see it on there

Once ORWO figures out the masking they need, NC200 will become MUCH better. Right now, only the base is dyed, not a true color mask. It makes a big improvement, but there are still some issues to fix.

Well on the way to a very solid color film!

My sample picture on 135 film.

Ok. Im going to check this film out. Apparently it gives a dreamy look to the pics, especially for outdoor sunny shots. Im curious how it would do for portraits outdoors.

They say to overexpose it a little to give a more dreamy look to it. Anyone try this and how much would you overexpose it by- to 100 ISO? 160?

Ive been asking for a cheaper option for color film in C41 for sheet sizes. And this seems to be it.

Reflx Lab also sells cut sheets of Aerocolor IV under their Pro100 branding for reasonable prices. I haven’t developed a lot of mine yet (1 developed, 6 more shot last weekend and to be developed soon) but I’m very happy with the one sheet I did develop so far. It’s on a thin base like a roll film, so a little fiddly to load.

Well mine in 4x5 will be here Tuesday. Rainy as heck next week, but if there's any breaks I'll try and get out to report back

Mine in 4x5 was delivered today finally after 10 days in shipping. Is it me or has the last week or two been unusually slow for shipping?

My plan was to shoot the 4x5 and if it was acceptable buy a couple boxes of 8x10. If I get it shot and developed in a timely manner (life has gotten busy lately) I will post a scan.

Disclaimer: I used Photoshop for the conversion and I don’t often convert color negative film this way. I typically use Smart Convert but I couldn’t get Smart Convert to work consistently on these for some unknown reason.

Scan made with Nikon Z7ii and negative sandwiched between 2 panes of glass for flatness, and the I only adjusted the levels. I did a six shot bracket and the best capture in my opinion was shot at a full stop under box speed.

The day was very windy and overcast this was @6pm.

Edit: Corrected the white balance.
