I think his spirit is carried by most happy indian photographers... Happy is the worst descriptor but I mean people who shoot for the love of it like me and shoot regularly - I just use my phone these days. I suppose the cover of "Mumbai" is similar to this pic i took in March... Prolly nothing like it, lol.

Good bye to a legend. You must understand how few "big" photographers come from India. I sometimes feel like him lol

it's because in film times people barely had money... So a culture of basically any of the arts never came back, including photography. People needed to earn first and an endless amount of brilliant software engineers popped up. And obviously it depends where you go if it's photogenic or not.
