My mom used to crochet when I was younger. This doll is one of many of her creations from the 1980s.

My Dad was an avid wood carver and crafter in the later years of his life. He loved to do St. Nicholas figurines and Christmas decorations.

My wife was preparing a fruit salad for a holiday party, and I caught her slicing the pineapple.

I WISH EVERYONE a VERY HAPPY and HEALTHY NEW YEAR and may all your photographic endeavors be successful ! As it always is, picking just one from the many submissions is a daunting task. For the Dec. MSA I have selected one and pass the torch for January to TheFlyingCamera for the palladium print of the lion's head carving. Both the subject and print technique depict fine hand work. Having made many pt/pd hand coated prints, I can appreciate what goes into producing the prints. Again best wishes for the new year.
