@gbroadbridge thank you for selecting my submission. I humbly accept the honor of selecting a subject for the December MSA. My subject is By Human Hands. The images can be of anything as long as a human has had some part of its construction, development or arrangement. There is a wide latitude so I am sure we will see some interesting interpretations. Just to clarify here are a few ideas: still lifes, structures, works of art, garden arrangements, objects and even your pure breed pet dog (genetically developed for specific standards : ). If it is a landscape it should contain something obviously man/woman made.
Here are a few ideas to get things going:

It should be fun, I can't wait to see what you come up with!

A "handy" idea for this month's theme.
I've taken the liberty of tweaking the thread title/subject wording.
I'll update the list of themes to date, and do my mini-moderator magic with Sticky threads.

Thanks again I thought I could copy and paste what I had done but somehow got lost

You are very welcome.
You can copy and paste - but you need some place to paste to!
I trust the revised wording of the theme is okay - if not, please don't hesitate to complain.

"Mishoon Exhibit"
Exposure: 1/2 at f/11

Mishoon (boat/canoe) exhibit with Chemauonk paddles made of cedar and sugar maple. Lyman Conservatory at Smith College in Northampton, MA. Wasn't able to use a tripod so I braced myself and composed as best as I could.

Kind of looks like a ball of yarn.

Love the paddles.

Looks like we are off to a great start. Nice work. Keep it coming.

Where is your alma mata? Some years ago there was a Chihuly installation here (Miami) at a botanical garden. I photographed most of the pieces. Thanks for sharing keep it up 👍.

Thanks for your entry. Was that Machinehead designed by a saxophonist?😁🎷

Not as far as I know

I was driving around one day having just purchased a wonky 35mm f/1.4 AIS I had just fixed up and wanted to test. This was some sort of industrial cleaning system on the side of factory I spotted from a parking space next door.

That would make a cool MSA, though - forms that mimic or are evocative of other things. It could be called something like "It Reminds Me Of ..."

"Steel structure"
Exposure: 1/250 at f/8

Downtown Northampton, MA. Right outside of Urban Outfitters and near the First Church. Sadly this was the only usable image on the roll. Only thing I can think of is the extreme cold may have made the shutter timings a little longer because most the whole roll is very overexposed. Next time I am taking out the Yashicamat 124G and see if the same thing happens.

Interesting structure does it have any purpose? Looks like some kind of a shelter. The pyramid shape reminds me of a sculpture I made some years ago. Thanks for sharing.
Stay warm actually we’re still wearing shorts and t shirts. 🏃‍♂️

It is used as a mild shelter by some, when it rains. There are structures, from many materials, that were put together to promote the arts for the city. Many were removed throughout the years. I think some of the older art structures looked cooler than the ones we have now.

I am also wearing shorts, or jeans, and a tank top even in this type of weather. Have been for the longest time. I get a lot of very interesting expressions and comments from people. I have acclimated to the cold and very cold weather. It doesn't bother me. Downtown I am known as the Ice Man. I will wear arm guards for the triceps when the wind picks up. Tricep areas get the most affected when the winds pick up. Less circulation in the upper limb areas.

I get more concerned about my cameras and equipment being out in the cold more than myself, lol.
