WTK: Pentax 67ii Repair

Good Morning fellow Pentaxians !

Who can you recommend to tune up and CLA a 67ii ? I have tried Eric at pentaxrepairs.com and he no longer works on the 67ii.

I think the focusing needs adjustment because I just got back from a shoot and I missed about 50% of my shots. I usually loose about 1 frame per roll, but never this many so I figure something is off with my 105 or the body (or both).

unless your p67-ii body has been tampered and focusing messed up it is quite a robust body. Check it with another lens and see if you can still conclude it is the body that needs repair. Also did you adjust the diopter lens properly. P67-ii has an adjustable diopter glass behind the eyecup. It is a weak point of the p67-ii camera. It can be damaged by too frequent adjustments. Perhaps it is misadjusted or broken. By the way, I almost never got a misfocused frame ever with my p67-ll body. My vision is not 2.0, not even 1.2, more like 0.8 - 1.0.

Morning. I sent it off for repair and the prism / mirror angle was off. I knew there was some sort of problem as I rarely miss focus myself.

I had this camera for 10 years and had to let it go, due to an intermittent shutter drag problem that repair wouldn't fix. Too many magnets in the shutter were its downfall. The version 1 only has 1 magnet. I know there are two places that can still repair the version 2, but they often say, because of the electronics in the version 2, there is a chance a repair won't be possible. But they will at least look at it. The two places in North America are:

Advance Camera in Portland Oregon (I sent mine here and their service was outstanding, but the repair didn't fix the issue)

and

LeZot Camera Sales and Repair in Burlington Vermont

Both places will ship international including Canada.

I sent it to Advance Camera in Portland. I first called Eric (name ?) at pentaxrepair.com and he does not work on the 67ii anymore. They have been great !
