I don't see much iPhone photography in the fashion, home, and food magazines, including especially the advertisements contained therein. The occasion iPhone photo, yes; the bulk of it, no.

how do you know what the photographer used to make the photograph?
its like being able to tell the difference between a photograph made by a yashica T4 and a nikon f4 after they are published ...
i used to hang out with someone who SWORE he could tell the difference between a print made from a film camera
and digtal camera .. 2 prints side by side, every time he was wrong. color or b/w or color converted to b/w
if someone knows what they are doing .. they can take a photograph with a barbie 110 instamatic and it will look like
it was taken with a hassleboat

28mm perspective. And I disagree that a Barbie 110 (I have the Teenage Mutant Turtles version) can be made to mimic a Hasselblad with a reasonable size print, although the reverse is true.

Static editorial work still uses cameras. Why not? If you're controlling the lighting, and the camera is on a tripod, why use a phone? For work on the fly smart phones have a bigger take up. Also for copy and archival work. People even use them for landscape.

IDK with the right finesse anything is possible !
especially when a hassle boat is involved
