FS: Leica M-mount Leitz Canada 90mm f/2.8 Tele-Elmarit Lens

90mm is one of my favorite focal lengths for 35mm photography and I have about 8 of them between my Leicas, Nikons and Contax cameras! While I really like this tele-elmarit a lot I find for my B&W Leica film work I tend to personally prefer my more moderate contrast 90/4 Elmar so this one just does not get used much.

I bought this originally from KEH about 4-5 years ago. It's in fine shape as the photos show with the glass pristine and the body with only minor small nicks (very few). Focus is also smooth and trouble-free. It does have a small amount of oil on the aperture blades but it came that way and has not increased in my years of ownership and the aperture blades move smoothly and nicely. That said I've priced this into my asking. See photos of lens for exact condition. Message me with any questions.

Wonderfully sharp and contrasty lens with great bokeh. Also attached are a few photos I've taken using this exact lens. Comes with front third-party lens cap as shown. No rear cap.

This sounds like a very good deal to me. I bought one a couple of years ago for 500 with bad cosmetics, a perfect glass, and a Leitz certificate of inspection and overhaul. A great lens and fast. I have a 90 ELmar.....I can't say it is better. It sure is lighter.

Maybe more gear for sale coming soon. Finally getting around to selling off "dupe" focal lengths in my collection plus maybe some other gear I have not used in a while. And I need to find a new hobby: electric guitar. Oh and a rental property I own needs a new roof!!
