BLIND PRINT EXCHANGE ROUND 17 (BPX17) - STATUS AND UPDATES

Well, here we are again! Remember that the exchange time period is February-April. May-June will be rest and we will have the round 18 signup in July.

Here is the roster. I have just sent out the PMs so if you didn't get one please let me know ASAP. Do not send your print until Thursday, February 7 to allow for address corrections just in case, heaven forbid, I screwed something up or someone moved since they sent their address and forgot to tell me. Your PM will also contain your own address; please check it and notify me at once if it is incorrect or out of date.

Amazingly enough, I am the first one in this round to receive a print. As a matter of fact, I have received two beautiful prints from Uwe (piu58). One is a landscape picture of an interesting rock formation in Iceland. And the second is my favorite - some really unusual leafy plant named Aeonium. Really cool! Thank you Uwe!

Life and this dreadful thing called work has gotten in the way of my darkroom time, but I have decided on what to print. I plan to get some darkroom time over the weekend, so I might be a little bit late, but I'll get there.

I received a very nice print from Reed, so I can be moved in the "received" list.

Reed, I really like the image, the different sections in the image work very fine !

I'm still stuck in my printing, but I hope I'll get something soon enough (I suspect I have too many negatives to chosse from, does it happen to anybody else ?)

I'm so glad you like it! I'm not sure I do myself but I see all my work differently a few months down the road. It's too close right now.
