Is anyone familiar with the once made Zone VI film/print washer that was a horizontal type washer unlike their washer where the paper or film was loaded vertically into slots? Robert

They were called "The Washing Machine" and were primarily used as a holding bath for prints before final washing.
 
Yes I owned one..great washer for alternative processes
 
For years I used one for washing ULF film. But it seems as though a lot of people have come to the consensus these days that the expensive multi-slot archival washers are not necessary. There is a lot to be said for the good old tray fill and dump method. Or the Kodak tray siphon. I have even used one of these for washing pt/pd prints. A whole 30 dollar investment.
