Hi
Following the breakage of the zoneVI enlarger's focus control cardan, I removed the allen screw close to the housing, but it's impossible to remove it. What can I do? If anyone has had this problem, please tell me what to do.
Best regards

Just guessing here, since I don't have personal experience with this particular enlarger.

It looks from your photo as if the "cardan" is screwed on to a threaded post. Removing the Allen screw just enables it to be unscrewed. You'd have to find something to hold the top portion fast while unscrewing the bottom piece.

Try it with moderate force and see if you have any results.

That's a goofy design, I just went down and looked at mine. IIRC the original focusing knob is moved to the end of the extension stick. To go back to the regular knob, you open the sheet metal cover and remove the apparatus from the original focusing shaft, you then return the milled aluminum knob back to the shaft.
I have been wary of this extension since I installed it.
I would remove the entire sheet metal box before messing with the bit you are trying to unscrew.

My friend who had that problem succeed today to separate the things with a small tool an extractor. There was some glue in the thread to fix it. Now it's oK.
Thanks all for your answers.
