Hey there :smile: frist a small introduction: my name is Janosch Simon im a fine art Photographer and want to show my art as a Ziatype print and later Platinum :smile: or did i forget any high quality printing method? :smile:

anyway its very hard to find the chemicals in germany/europe and mixing them on my own is to dangerous i think :smile:

i know that moersch has the ziatype chemicals but not as a kit and the Lithium Palladium Solution 25ml solution cost 100€ on its own at bostick-sullivan the whole kit is 107$

mhhh any tip would be appreciated :smile:

hmmm anybody of you guys from europe ordert at b&s? how long is the shipping time? any problems with customs?

Well. I did order a stepwedge at B/S once. But that was trough normal mail, non package. The sad thing is that for some 100 something dollars you indeed got that kit. But then you need it shipped, which i think will cost you another $50 if not more due to hazardous chem transport fees. I actually wouldnt be suprised if it didnt even get trough customs when entering the EU.

If i were you i'd really carefully look at your options for transport. And perhaps even call the german customs office to make sure you wont run into trouble.

EDIT: But the stepwedge btw arrived within 1.5 weeks i think.

B&S ship quickly and I've never had a problem with deliveries to Europe (UK and Switzerland). Sometimes I've been charged duty and VAT, but sometimes I haven't - I guess that's down to the efficiency of the receiving postal service.

I'm currently in the same boat and decided to order in form of raw chemicals. All are pretty much available through disactis.com and those that are not (some additional components suggested for colour / contrast control) can be bought from various other sources. But yes, nice, neat, package deal from EU would be welcome.
